The title of the ad is called "globalized" and is trying to show how Japanese International company has set their official language to English so Japanese Businessmen has to adapt to this kind of change. This ad also a joke about the struggle to use English at work.

So it's shown in the ad that the ad contain some binary opposite like tradition vs modern influence and underdog vs dark horse. The tradition vs modern influence is shown through the Japanese vs the west weaponry as shown in the ad, the Japanese who were the good guys were seen using samurai equipment's like a sword and spear whilst the foreigners who are the bad guys in the ads uses modern equipment like guns and artillery, this severe gap also shows that the Japanese are the "underdogs" since they are severely lack in power while the foreigners are the "black horse" as they have modern equipment that can make them powerful.

The advertisement is representing the struggle of everyday Japanese businessman on using English, This can be proven that every time they are speaking one another they say that English is hard they cant understand it and when the foreigners were speaking English directly to them its hard for them to comply to them, this kind of representation appeal to audience as the audience would know their struggle on communicating with English and so the audience can empathies with their struggle. Also the clothing they are wearing are wearing suits which implicate that they are businessman as business man would usually wear this. Also the ad represent a war that happen in Japan along time ago called the boshin war, this is used to appear to the audience as Japanese people would get what is going on in the ad as the war is taught to them in school.

The audience can make the connection from the star appeal of the ad, as the ad features a lot of Japanese actors the audience will know. Also from the word 'survive' it is trying to say that the Japanese businessman eat the noodle in the ad so that they can survive and adapt to the Globalization and the ad also inspire audience to adapt to the globalization as it is shown in the ad that Japanese businessman are fighting hard to understand and to adapt to globalization.

The big Text 'Cup noodle Ishin' at the end is likely to catch the viewer attention and to be aware at the product being shown. They also use a big sign 'survive' as to catch the viewer attention as it's as a warning to the viewer, it is proven by the color of red which is bright and can tract viewer's attention
