- The majority of the article covers and thumbnails are of black folks. They also cover a wide range of issues pertaining to black people, including Black History Month, the Black Unity Bike Ride, Black History, and more.
- A handful of the website's postings, such as "How Black History is benefiting black dementia patients," were written by Sinai Fleary, a black woman who is one of the website's writers. These pieces are obviously intended for Black people.
- advertisements with a black theme, like the one for "South African Road Trip" in the image up top, are also prevalent.
What Role Does Postcolonialism Play?
Typically by having them seem a certain way, business suits to depict professionalism and class is one of the examples. This contrasts with the traditional Post Colonial writings where the only people being portrayed as excellent are the European or White people.
However, this article. Black people, or what a typical Post Colonial text could refer to as the "Others," are the main focus of attention. The White population is viewed as the minority in this article due to the overwhelming number of postings about Black people, and practically all portrayals of Black people are positive, which essentially indicates that this article entirely subverts the traditional ideals of post colonialism.
