To be honest, I have no experience in editing audios whatsoever and as such didn't know what Software I can use that would be the best for editing. At first, I though the Software Audacity which we used to record our podcast at school would be the best. Reviews were great and it was free, But after using for some time, It was complicated for me, so I started looking for some alternatives. Lakila despite being out of the group, gave us the idea of using Bandlab, Which was an online free audio / music making software that in my opinion was easy and simple to use. It didn't take me long at all to finally start editing the 1st Episode.

1st Episode - 27 

Club In the first episode, I edited the audios sequentially, where I added effects, snippets and volume changes gradually as I go a long with the time. In that order I didn't  include parts of the podcast that are unnecessary to shorten time. The biggest problem I face here was trying to make the audios for me and Jason to be louder while keeping Jo's voice the same. Frankly the only way to do that is by editing individual audios and increasing their volumes manually. Here's how I did it :

First you need to slice the Audio

Within that sliced audio, You need to then Increase the audio by increasing the 'region gain'

Another problem I face was trying to make transitions and audios between the main podcast along with snippets seem smooth. The way I do this is by Reducing the volume of one part gradually and increasing or keeping the volume of the other. While it's not perfect, it does make it sound a lot more smooth

By the end, there in Total 13 different audios that makes up this podcast, the vast majority of them are snippets of artist songs like 'Smells like Teen Spirt' and 'Faust'. All and all, I can say that the editing was a hard work in some parts but overall simple and fun. All You really had to do was import the files and place them accordingly in the podcast.

Final

2nd Episode - As it Was 

For the second episode instead of editing it sequentially like the first, I opted to change things up a notch and edit the Main Audio of the podcast first, I mainly focused on increasing the volume of the sounds and cut off parts of the podcast. This way, I can focus on the main audio first so I don't need to worry about the effect or snippets just yet which took most of time in the first podcast. 

Once I was finished with the main audio, all I needed to do was just importing the intro, bed and snippets. This was done pretty quick, all I needed to do was just to fit them well in the podcast. Though, Unlike the first podcast, I added a background sound or a bed. There was three songs which done by LAKERS INSPIRED. The Background didn't require a lot editing besides lowering the volume in some parts. 

The hardest part of editing in second episode was connecting the whole main podcast together. Because of the time limit, I had to disinclude a lot of parts in the podcast and trying to make them connect with other parts was a time consuming process. In some parts You can even clearly hear where the cut took place. But other than that, The second episode was easy to do, It was done in a day and the results were Good.
